Your Tasks
You will be responsible for working in close collaboration with dedicated colleagues who share a passion for chocolate. The team of chocolate technicians contributes to various contexts in achieving AAK's vision of being 'first choice for value-adding vegetable oil solutions'. Your tasks will include:
- Implementing sensory analysis to quantify the benefits of our ingredients.
- Developing new methods for analysis and creative chocolate applications.
- Working with advanced analysis equipment in our mini chocolate factory.
- Contributing to teaching AAK's regional colleagues and core customers about chocolate processes and product properties at AAK academies.
About You
Ideally, you have a higher education in chemist, food engineer, food scientist, pharmacist, process technologist or similar, with a strong background in analytical chemistry in the food industry, preferably in confectionery. A proven record in sensory analysis is highly valued. We look for your ability to combine theory with practical experience to understand fat chemistry and ingredient functions in chocolate.
Effective communication of observations and results is essential. Attention to detail, responsibility, humor, commitment, initiative, and teamwork are highly valued traits.
