Postdoctoral Researcher in Electrification and Energy Systems

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Department of Wind and Energy Systems, DTU. The successful candidate will contribute to the quantification of flexibility from home and public charging stations, and the development of methods to exploit it.
Key Responsibilities- Quantify the flexibility potential of different EV charging hubs, both public and private, including light- and heavy-duty vehicles
- Investigate possible synergies between the EV charging processes and the renewable energy generation and propose new methods to exploit them
- Quantify their combined impact on the power system and find the optimal location to maximize their usage and minimize their grid impact
The postdoc will be part of research, development, and demonstration projects, focusing on E-mobility integration and power system flexibility. The researcher will have task responsibilities in both projects and will be involved in the coordination of the projects' activities.
Supervision of PhD and master students will be part of the job, along with participation in educational activities. The candidate is also expected to actively contribute to raising funds for new research projects and to promote DTU activities.
