About the Role

As a Payroll Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. You'll stay ahead of the curve by staying up-to-date with local, state, and other payroll regulations, and provide support to employees with any salary-related queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and ensure our processes are compliant.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, addressing their salary-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to ongoing payroll improvements, including process development and optimization, and system updates.
  • Extend guidance on time registration within vacation and sickness.
  • Perform full reconciliations of salary accounts, ensuring all payroll transactions are accurate and accounted for.
  • Be responsible for vacation settlement of terminated employees.
  • Manage pension contributions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and employee agreements.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for a skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist who is eager to collaborate with our team and contribute to our success. You'll have a Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and at least 4 years of relevant experience in end-to-end payroll processing and administration.

You'll be a numbers expert with a proven background in working with payroll software and a commitment to accuracy. You'll be eager to find ways to simplify and improve processes through automation and innovation, and have fluency in written and spoken English and any of the Scandinavian languages.
