We are seeking an experienced Deputy Class Underwriter to join our Renewable Power & Energy team at iCAN Apply. The successful candidate will have a strong background in insurance, particularly in the Energy industry, and excellent analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite new and renewal risks and approve endorsements/amendments as required.
- Assist the Renewable Power Class Underwriter/Divisional Head in developing a long-term strategy for Renewable Power & Energy and related business.
- Perform slip and rating analysis, undertake premium monitoring, and conduct PML/aggregation analysis with the Exposure Management team.
- Monitor risks written and due for renewal, develop target accounts, and maintain accurate written premium data on our proprietary policy administration system.
Requirements
- Relevant insurance experience specific to the Energy industry.
- Underwriting experience in the Lloyd's & London Market.
- Experience in the Renewable Power industry.
- Intermediate proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with exposure management tools.
- Able to communicate effectively and work in a pressured environment.
