About the Role
COWI A/S is seeking a highly skilled Global Category Manager to oversee the Professional Services category. This role will involve developing and implementing a global strategy for professional services, including management consulting, legal, HR, and financial services.
The ideal candidate will have a solid commercial mindset with in-depth knowledge of procurement strategy, tools, techniques, and processes. They will also possess a proven track record of category management and contract negotiation for various professional services.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the Professional Services Category, continuously optimizing professional services spending, and establishing preferred and strategic supplier portfolios. The successful candidate will also be responsible for integrating sustainability criteria and metrics into the acquisition of professional services and performance reporting.

Your Skills & Qualifications
- Masters degree with 7+ years of experience in strategic procurement in international organizations
- Solid commercial mindset with in-depth knowledge of procurement strategy, tools, techniques, and processes
- Proven track record of category management and contract negotiation for various professional services
- Extensive experience in Stakeholder Management with enhanced interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization and across cultures
- Excellent English language skills, both oral and written
