Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Enablement Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in building and evolving our streaming-first, self-service data platform. Your primary objective will be to enable software developers, data scientists, analysts, and product teams to efficiently address complex operational and analytical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Build the first set of stream/batch processing pipelines and reusable patterns to bootstrap self-service adoption.
  2. Develop documentation, templates, blueprints, examples, and reference implementations for analysts and developers.
  3. Conduct onboarding, training sessions, workshops, and ongoing enablement.
  4. Support software developers and analysts when they face complex scenarios or edge cases.
  5. Gradually shift from initial ownership to advisory/support as internal users gain maturity and autonomy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in building and optimizing streaming/batch pipelines (transformations, aggregations, joins, enrichments).
  • Understanding of analytical data use-cases, real-time dashboards, or operational applications.
  • Exposure to SQL and analytical tools (Databricks SQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Looker, Tableau).
  • Exposure to DBT.
  • Experience producing technical documentation, user guides, tutorials.
  • Strong ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to varied audiences (analysts, engineers, managers).
