The DTU Wind team invites applications for a PhD position to develop an advanced wind turbine maintenance system. The project aims to create a versatile, modular, autonomous decision support system (DSS) tailored to enhance the O&M practices of wind turbines.

As a PhD student, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and realizing a DSS that integrates data acquisition, machine learning-based data analytics, and autonomous reasoning modules. Your primary tasks will include identifying signals or metrics that can indicate asset health states related to fault/degradation modes.

You will collaborate with researchers and engineers at DTU and external partners in academia and industry. Close collaboration with Vestas and the University of Granada is expected, along with external stays in Denmark and Spain.
