Procurement Specialist

A Procurement Specialist - Supply Chain Innovator is required to join our Pathology Procurement team in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This role will drive innovation in supply chain management by optimizing and standardizing operational procurement processes.

• Enhance supply chain processes, including purchasing, planning, and inventory management, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Optimize and standardize operational procurement processes, making workflows more efficient and effective.
• Train the team on new and improved processes, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Provide vital support to local supply chain management through detailed reports and analyses.
• Create insightful reports for management, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure a seamless purchasing and planning process.
• Oversee the procurement and inventory management of Agilent manufacturing materials, components, and services.
• Collaborate with vendors on specific tasks, representing the Operational Procurement Team and building strong partnerships.
• Navigate and implement specific regulatory requirements that impact our business and vendor relationships.
• Represent Global Procurement in international projects, contributing to process optimization across functions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Typically 4+ years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Solid understanding of working in a regulated environment, including ISO 900, ISO 13485, GMP, and FDA regulations (21 CFR part 820).
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for process improvement.
