About the Role:


Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team in Aarhus, DK or Hamburg, DE. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional category teams, negotiations, and contract management, as well as developing end-to-end cost out initiatives and category strategies.


Responsibilities:



  • Build, monitor, and report project procurement plans and create complete project end-to-end reporting overviews.
  • Develop cost out targets with engineering and commodity managers for specific offers.
  • Ensure supplier awareness of project-specific requirements and build a significant network within Vestas.
  • Structure proactive stakeholder management, including executive management level stakeholders.
  • Work closely with colleagues from Technology, Sales, Supply Chain, Construction, Project Management, Finance, and Quality.

Requirements:



  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement or Project Procurement with a degree in business administration, supply chain management, or project management.
  • Experience in commodity management, project execution, and sourcing strategy development in an industrial and international environment.
  • Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders on all levels of seniority.
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening skills to communicate and influence others effectively.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working across different cultures and regions.
