Agricultural Field Surveyor

About the Role:
Agreena is seeking experienced agricultural professionals to join our team as part-time seasonal data collection contractors. This exciting opportunity will involve collecting information on regenerative agricultural practices in agrifood supply chains across Finland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to designated areas and collect data on crop types and tillage intensity.
- Document required data per field using a simple protocol.
- Log information for each field on a mobile device using our easy-to-use app.
- The field surveys are conducted from the roadside.
- Upload data daily.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license and your own car to travel to assigned locations.
- An iPhone/Android phone or tablet to run our data collection app.
- Experience working in agriculture to identify major crops and tillage performed.
Timeline:
- This work will take place from August 2024 to May 2025.
- The work is flexible to your schedule, with a minimum of 8 hours (1 day) per week required.
Compensation:
- Payment will be made per data point collected, with an average payment of 180-200 Euro per full day of data collection (8 hours collecting).
- Lunch is covered at a rate of 9 Euro per full 8-hour day.
- Mileage is covered at a set rate of 0.53 Euro per Km.
