Security Risk Management Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Security Risk Management Specialist to join our R&D Shared Applications & Services team.
This role requires experience in integrating security strategy with business goals and operations, enhancing cybersecurity maturity, and anticipating future needs as a SaaS provider.
In this position, you will manage product-based security risk effectively, enabling product owners to make informed decisions while providing technical leadership across R&D to address emerging cyber and security issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will serve as a central point of expertise for all product-related queries concerning Cyber and Security risk.
- You will evaluate security and control measures, identify areas for improvement, and develop a comprehensive security risk management plan.
- You will conduct threat modeling to identify, communicate, and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities in the context of safeguarding enterprise infrastructure, networks, applications, and data.
- You will interpret Enterprise Security policy applicable to products and product development processes to ensure efficient and proportionate compliance supporting collective risk management.
- To provide guidance and oversight of product architectures (including development and test processes) to ensure security concerns and architectures align with the product's requirements (addressing confidentiality, integrity, and availability concerns) and ensure residual risks are understood and accepted.
- To support product teams in understanding and managing security risk within their streams to ensure controls are relevant and effective.
- To assist product teams in generating security and cyber related materials in support of compliance, assurance, or other regulated requirements, including the creation of templates and patterns minimizing resource impact.
- To maintain a register of product and service-related security risk across 3Shape.
- To oversee histories and audit trails associated with security assessments, submissions, reviews, and security events related to product development, ensuring design and delivery of controls and documentation for Enterprise Security policies.
- To review and approve the Cybersecurity Analysis Report (CAR) for projects.
- To advise projects on selecting vendors for security-related activities like penetration tests and ensure secure execution.
