Automize is seeking a skilled IT project lead to strengthen its deliveries.

The ideal candidate will have a good technical understanding of IT infrastructure and the ability to handle larger projects within the field.

Your responsibilities

As an IT project lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that internal and external projects are delivered on time, with the agreed quality. You will work for customers in both the SME and enterprise segments.

Key skills include:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to create a good dialogue with both customers and colleagues.
  • Persistence in completing milestones in your projects on time.
  • The ability to independently navigate challenges along the way in the projects.
  • Experience using both agile and traditional project methods.
What does the job entail?

As a project manager, a large part of your daily life will involve being in contact with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders in Automize's delivery projects. You are able to plan, lead, coordinate, and juggle many tasks at the same time.

You will experience working in the tension field between classic business infrastructure and classic delivery models, while also looking into 'as Code' projects, where the approach to projects leans towards the agile approach associated with software projects.

Required skills and qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience as a project manager in the IT industry, preferably with a technical background.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management both externally and internally.
  • A strong execution drive and the ability to take responsibility for delivering on time and with quality.
  • A master's or bachelor's degree, preferably supplemented with certifications such as IPMA, PRINCE 2, PMI, or similar, as well as training in agile project management (SAFe, Scrum).
  • Structured, communicative, and clear in language and behavior.
  • Commercial experience and the ability to think holistically.
  • Solution-oriented, persistent, and having a pragmatic approach to tasks.
  • Ability to communicate in English both in writing and speaking.
  • Experience with portfolio management is a plus.
