Lead Data Analyst for Financial Reporting and Business Intelligence

Job Description:We are seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team at Nordea Bank Denmark. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing new reporting areas, supporting the development of our new reporting environment, and making data available for reporting and production.
About This Opportunity
Our Business Intelligence team is accountable for all financial reporting of Nordea Bank in Denmark as well as our mortgage company Nordea Kredit. We set the requirements for the control environment of the financial reporting process performed by our colleagues within Group Finance. Additionally, we cover the full accounting and reporting process for Nordea Kredit.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new reporting solutions using tools like SQL, VBA, SAS, Macro, and Power BI.
- Maintain and enhance existing reports to ensure data accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop reports that meet those needs.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in collecting and managing data, making it available for end users.
- Experience on a senior level with tools like SQL, VBA, SAS, Macro, and Power BI.
- Familiarity with financial reporting in banks and/or mortgage banks is valuable.
- A related candidate-level education or equivalent is required.
- Excellent collaborative and communicative skills and understanding of the dynamics of a large organization.
- Self-driven and able to make an impact.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
