Danske Bank, a leading financial institution in the Nordic region, is seeking an experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I) team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, with a focus on LC&I business activities, products, and associated risks. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance structures within the LC&I area.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing audit projects within LC&I, ensuring comprehensive coverage of risks related to LC&I financial services and product offerings.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance structures relevant to LC&I.
  • Maintaining stakeholder relationships with LC&I representatives, ensuring a collaborative and transparent dialogue around current and developing risks.
  • Assisting in the risk assessment of the LC&I business and providing input to our audit response.
  • Staying updated on regulatory developments and industry best practices to ensure that audit activities are effectively capturing high-risk areas.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Auditing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience from an audit-, compliance-, or risk function.
  • Proven expertise relating to LC&I business activities, products, and associated risks.
  • Advanced leadership and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive communication skills in English, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and staff.
