Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE and HR Manager to join our team at the Unilever factory in Odense, Denmark. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, while also supporting the HR function in delivering strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environment (HSE) management, as well as experience in HR management in a manufacturing environment. You will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSE strategies to ensure compliance with local legislation and Unilever standards
  • Lead the HSE network and serve as the primary point of contact for local authorities
  • Manage process safety, including combustible dust, flammable liquids, and other chemicals, to ensure systems and equipment are under control and in safe condition
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective operations within the factory
  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR topics in the factory
  • Oversee Temporary Workforce management to ensure all business requirements are respected on time and in full
What You Need to Succeed
  • Law Master Degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of HSE requirements by Danish Law
  • Basic experience in HR Management in a manufacturing environment
  • Digital skills and proficiency in Office Suite
  • Empathy and people caring skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Safety mindset
  • Willingness to work in an international environment
  • Fluent in Danish and English (read and write)
