Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated researcher with a strong background in metagenomics and hologenomics. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting original research, developing and leading projects, and teaching and supervising students. Experience in fieldwork, captivity experimentation, and grant writing is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and conduct original research in behavioural hologenomics
- Collaborate with colleagues on research projects related to hologenomics
- Develop and teach courses on hologenomics and metagenomics
- Supervise students at the pre- and postgraduate levels
Required Skills and Qualifications
- PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or similar
- Experience in generating and analysing shotgun metagenomic data
- Strong publication record in genome-resolved metagenomics and/or hologenomics
