About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the DARK Center for Theoretical Astrophysics. As a postdoctoral fellow, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects in astrophysics and cosmology, collaborating with our faculty and junior professors.

Research Focus

Your research will focus on astrophysical transients and cosmic explosions, including gravitational waves, tidal disruption events, and supernovae. You will also have the opportunity to work on neutrino astrophysics, high-redshift galaxies, fundamental cosmology, dark matter and dark energy, black holes and AGN, and cosmic dust.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent research in astrophysics and cosmology
  • Collaborate with faculty and junior professors on research projects
  • Teach and mentor students
  • Present research at international conferences
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have a PhD in astrophysics or a related field. You should have a strong research background and a proven track record of publishing in top-tier journals. You should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
