As a Production Economy Manager at Novo Nordisk A/S, you will play a critical role in driving financial excellence and strategic decision-making across our production facilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing production economy, performance management, business intelligence, and manning and capacity costs. You will also analyse and report on PS API's production economy, ensure solid financial deliverables from PS API, and safeguard financial targets in PS API. Additionally, you will demonstrate broad knowledge within finance processes and act as the local Process Champion and sometimes PS API champion.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and report on PS API's production economy. This includes topics allocation of costs, inventory adjustments, production variances, yield & volume understanding and support of unit cost decisions.
  • Ensure solid financial deliverables from PS API to relevant stakeholders.
  • Safeguard financial targets in PS API.
  • Demonstrate broad knowledge within finance processes and act as the local Process Champion and sometimes PS API champion.
  • Continuously improve financial forecasting, planning and reporting across PS API.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience with production economy, including unit costs, inventory valuation, and standard cost variances.
  • Experience with financial processes, including planning, reporting, and management, as well as broad business knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Analytical and IT flair. SAP and BI solutions like Alteryx, Tableau and Power BI will be utilized in the position, that's why these tools are good to have experience with.
