We're AgainBio (Luabio Aps, Secondcircle Aps), a team of scientists working on meaningful projects to reduce CO2 emissions.
Our novel fermentation-based bio-manufacturing technology turns CO2 into carbon-negative chemicals, with over 2 tonnes of carbon removed from the atmosphere for every tonne of products made.
The Job Details
- This role involves leading the development and implementation of new and existing downstream processes for our technology at pilot and commercial scales.
- You'll work closely with our process engineering team to design, optimize, and scale-up downstream processes for acetic acid production.
- Your key responsibilities will include process design and optimization, scale-up and technology transfer, and quality control and assurance.
Key Requirements
- Practical experience in downstream process engineering, including drafting ideas, formalizing design, and commissioning biotechnological equipment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work closely with suppliers, scientific teams, and management.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex workflows and documentation.
