Job Opportunity in Infection Microbiology

The Infection Microbiology Group at Rigshospitalet and the Technical University of Denmark is seeking a highly motivated and experienced molecular microbiologist to join our team. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in the field of infection microbiology, with a focus on understanding the mechanisms of persistent bacterial infections in human airways.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute experiments to investigate the genetic and molecular mechanisms of bacterial infections
  • Analyze and interpret large-scale -omics data to identify key drivers of infection persistence
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, clinicians, and engineers to develop innovative solutions for infection diagnosis and treatment
  • Contribute to the development of new research projects and grant proposals
Requirements:
  • PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or a related field
  • Strong background in microbial genetics, genomics, and -omics technologies
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
