We are seeking a Senior Test Specialist to join our software development organization. This role will be part of building up our test environment from the ground up.

The successful candidate will ensure the overall quality of our software products, handle test planning and execution, and contribute to our automation journey. As a Senior Test Specialist, you will be responsible for quality in multiple teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and executing test plans and agreeing with stakeholders
  • Documenting and maintaining functional, technical, and business test cases in our test management tool
  • Working closely with teams across Dalux to set up efficient testing methodologies
  • Managing defects and tracking root causes to build regression tests
  • Taking an active role in community-led QA practices
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field
  • Experience in Quality Management or Software Testing roles with a track record of delivering high-quality software products
  • Several years of test development experience
  • Curious mind and eagerness to learn
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex issues and suggest creative solutions
  • Experience in unit testing, regression testing, integration testing, and finding the right balance between manual and automated testing
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with development teams
  • Ability to understand code and proficiency in querying databases
  • Bonus points for knowledge of Cypress, webDriver, XUnit, API, Security, Performance testing with tools like RestAssured/Postman/JMeter/SonarQube
