About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MetOcean & Coastal Analyst to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our Ports, Marine and Coastal Engineering Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the green energy transition of Offshore Wind and blue infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advanced Numerical Modelling: Develop and apply advanced numerical models to simulate coastal processes, including waves, currents, storm surge, sediment transport, and morphology.
  • MetOcean Data Analysis: Assess marine site conditions and analyze MetOcean data to inform design decisions.
  • MetOcean Design Basis: Produce MetOcean design basis for marine structures using numerical modelling and statistical analyses.
  • Automation and Tool Development: Contribute to the development of automation tools and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • R&D and Knowledge Sharing: Participate in research and development activities to enhance our capabilities and share knowledge with colleagues.
About You
  • Education and Experience: A degree in Coastal Engineering, Oceanography, Hydrodynamics, or a related field, with proven experience in MetOcean analysis, numerical hydrodynamic modelling, and coastal engineering.
  • Skills and Qualities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a passion for driving innovation and technical excellence.
