Information Security Architect

As a seasoned Information Security Architect at Templafy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's security strategy and ensuring the protection of our customers' sensitive data. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning our security posture with broader business objectives and execution, enhancing our cybersecurity maturity, and anticipating future requirements as a leading SaaS provider.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze security and control measures to identify gaps in security architecture and effectiveness, and develop a comprehensive security risk management plan.
- Conduct thorough threat modeling to identify, communicate, and understand threats and mitigations within the context of protecting enterprise infrastructure, network, applications, and data.
- Design, build, implement, and support enterprise-class security systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats, providing actionable insights to inform security decisions.
- Oversee the management of a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) for MXDR, ensuring optimal security coverage and incident response.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing thorough post-event analyses and contributing to the development of incident response plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to assess their security posture and ensure the security of shared systems and data.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to proactively identify potential risks and recommend appropriate security measures.
- 4-6 years of experience in Information Security or a related Information Technology role.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of advanced cyber threats, threat intelligence, and security protocols.
- Hands-on experience with threat modeling tools and techniques, risk assessment procedures, and mitigation strategy development, such as STRIDE.
- Proficiency in working with Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and vulnerability scanners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate complex problems to both technical and executive audiences.
- Expertise in application, software development life cycle (SDLC), and cloud security is highly valued in our organization.
- Industry certifications, such as Azure security and/or networking specialty certifications, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are desirable.
