Senior Manager, Medical Communications

Ascendis Pharma A/S is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Medical Communications to join our growing team. As a key member of our Medical Communications team, you will play a crucial role in driving our medical publications and collaborating with cross-functional, global teams to achieve extraordinary results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop abstracts, poster content, conference presentations, and manuscript materials.
  2. Leverage relevant software and databases for publication development.
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally throughout the publication process.
  4. Coordinate and lead internal and external author meetings and reviews of materials.
  5. Communicate key information around publication with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure Medical Communications materials are adequately captured and distributed.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Relevant academic degree, preferably a Ph.D. in a biomedical science.
  • 2+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of publication practices and guidelines.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with external KOLs.
