Postdoctoral Research Opportunities

We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join our experimental quantum optics group at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen. The successful candidates will be responsible for leading and developing existing activities within coupled quantum emitters and spin-photon interfaces.

The quantum photonics group specializes in developing quantum photonic nanostructures containing quantum dots for deterministic photon sources, including single-photon sources, multi-photon entanglement sources, and coupled quantum emitters. Our developed hardware is employed for quantum-information processing applications in advanced quantum communication and photonic quantum computing.

Our center, Hy-Q, is a hub for interdisciplinary research combining experimental and theoretical expertise within optomechanics, single photon emitters, and nanophotonics. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with approximately 50 researchers from diverse backgrounds, fostering close daily interactions that enhance both scientific and social exchanges.
