As a Payments and Subscription engineer at Veo Group, you'll be part of a team that owns the current payment, billing, and subscription processes. Your collaboration with stakeholders will be crucial in delivering a high-quality customer experience that supports our financial aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure for subscription management, billing, and payments.
  2. Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial transactions and revenue recognition processes.
  3. Collaborate with product and finance teams to implement new pricing models, payment gateways, and subscription features.
  4. Automate processes to streamline billing cycles, payment workflows, and subscription management.
  5. Monitor and optimize performance to ensure high reliability and scalability of our revenue-related systems.
  6. Integrate and maintain third-party services such as payment gateways (Adyen, PayPal) and subscription management tools.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to billing, subscription, and payments.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry standards for payment processing, security, and compliance.
Requirements:
  1. 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on SaaS or e-commerce platforms.
  2. Significant experience with subscription management and payment processing systems.
  3. Proficiency in backend development (e.g., Python, Node.js) and building APIs.
  4. Knowledge of financial systems and revenue recognition processes.
  5. Experience with SQL databases and data management for financial and subscription data.
  6. Understanding of security and compliance standards related to payments (e.g., PCI-DSS).
  7. A collaborative approach, with comprehensive communication skills and an ability to work cross-functionally.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000-$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a positive culture that allows you to thrive personally and professionally.
