E-mobility and Energy Flexibility Project
We are seeking a highly qualified postdoctoral fellow to join our Section on E-mobility and Prosumer Integration at Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU). The successful candidate will contribute to advancing our understanding of electromobility and energy flexibility.
The project aims to develop methods for optimizing the usage of power grid resources and charging stations in urban and rural areas. This involves creating a simulation environment to predict the most convenient location to place electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced methods for quantifying the flexibility potential of different EV charging hubs
- Analyze the synergies between EV charging processes and renewable energy generation
- Optimize the combined impact of EV charging and renewable energy on the power system
- Investigate innovative charging technologies for integration with renewable energy sources
About the Role:
The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a team of experienced researchers and engineers. They will contribute to the development of new methods and tools for optimizing e-mobility and energy flexibility.
