We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our ambitious gas trading team with experienced colleagues committed to achieving great results together.

Job Description

As our new Software Developer specializing in the gas market, you will be responsible for developing solutions that meet the needs of our trading team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining business-critical trading systems.

This includes developing our automated and algorithmic trading solution. The work involves close collaboration with traders and our Software Development team in Denmark to ensure that projects are completed to a high-quality standard.

Key Responsibilities

Developing tools to support the reliability, overview, and tracking of the automated trading solution.Implementing new algorithms for the automated and algorithmic trading solution.Coordinating with traders and other software developers to design and develop new state-of-the-art solutions for the gas market.Migrating old architecture to the cloud platform Azure and expanding the use of cloud technologies.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in software development with experience in languages such as C#, Java, or Python. Knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Azure, is also desirable.

A Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field is required. Additionally, you should possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a diverse team to achieve goals.
