Project Management Coordinator for Renewable Energy Projects

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) is seeking a Project Management Coordinator to join the Power-to-X (PtX) platform in Copenhagen, Denmark.
About the RoleYou will work closely with the global Head of PMO to support and guide both portfolio and project activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to take on significant responsibilities from day one, working on giga-watt scale PtX energy projects at the cutting edge of the energy transition.
Your key responsibilities will include aiding in the establishment of initial schedules, budgets, and risk registers according to existing guidelines. You will also support the EPC Director and Project Director in ad hoc analysis and regular reporting to project shareholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking delivery and supporting technical teams within schedule, risk, and cost management.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate and report on progress, performance, and forecasting to the management team and shareholders
- Facilitate scenario analysis and support project teams in concept selection and decision-making
- Drive and optimize consistent risk and interface management in the project
- Structure, compile, and maintain DEVEX and CAPEX budgets and assumptions for business case analysis
- Facilitate benchmarking and optimization of project processes and activities
- Oversee the continuous improvement of document control systems and promote this within the project organization

We are looking for a highly responsible and motivated individual with a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related field from an accredited program. 2-5 years of experience with project management support, ideally from the renewable energy or processing plant sector, is preferred.
- Close attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Solid experience with Excel and PowerPoint, with experience from Primavera (P6), PIMS/Omega 365, or Aconex being beneficial
- Comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills, balancing analysis between technical, commercial, and financial considerations
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written, along with great communication skills
- Willingness to work in an international, efficient, and highly varied environment
- PMI-PMP qualification or equivalent project management training as well as experience with the stage-gate model and structured project execution
