About Nordic Solar AS

We are a dynamic team of professionals passionate about renewable energy. As a Project Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, managing budgets, and working cross-functionally to align on invoicing, tax calculations, and expenses.

Your key responsibilities:

  1. Prepare monthly financial reports, including reconciled profit/loss and balance sheets.
  2. Develop yearly budgets and quarterly updated forecasts, ensuring they align with project timelines and financial requirements.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on invoicing, project costs, and financial reporting.
  4. Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including VAT, tax filings, and annual reports.
  5. Provide monthly input for share price calculations, assessing project costs and identifying paid and outstanding amounts.
  6. Approve invoices, ensuring timely payment and working closely with controllers to verify expenses and updates.

About You

  • Relevant economic background, such as HD2/HD(R), financial controller, Cand.merc.aud, or similar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial controlling or auditing.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, debit & credit, and share capital.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controlling, project budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, tax filings, and financial reporting (e.g., VAT, annual reports).
