Equipment Excellence Team Lead

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, S.A. is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Excellence Team Lead to join our team. As a key player in ensuring the Equipment function aligns with strategic goals, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Your role will be pivotal to the Equipment department's success, closely linked to strategic decision-making processes. You will lead a team of six professionals, ensuring performance is aligned with business objectives and supports continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of six professionals to achieve business objectives and support continuous improvement.
  • Growing team members to their full potential by supporting competence development and improvement efforts.
  • Implementing strategies to ensure continuous improvement of the team's responsibilities, focusing on high-quality output and operational excellence.
  • Ensuring effective resource management, quality assurance, and yearly budgeting activities within the Equipment function.
  • Supporting and developing reporting processes and tools within Equipment.
  • Strengthening the commercial mindset within the team and providing support to EQ management and stakeholders.
  • Driving regular portfolio revision meetings with customers to achieve strategic goals.
  • In some cases, acting as an individual contributor on strategic internal projects, reporting, and process improvements.

Required knowledge, education, experience, and skills include:

  • Experience in managing or working with budgets, resource allocation, and quality assurance within a technical or equipment-focused environment.
  • Leadership and communication skills, including the ability to engage with executive stakeholders, make informed decisions, and communicate clearly across various levels of the organization.
  • Collaboration and adaptability skills, including the ability to work with functional experts and senior stakeholders, navigate complex environments, and foster innovation.
  • Strong financial acumen, continuous improvement mindset, and ability to thrive in team-oriented settings.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle strategic decision-making processes.
  • Fluent in English, with strong written and spoken communication skills.

Preferred knowledge, education, experience, and skills include:

  • Experience working in global or multi-cultural environments.
  • Familiarity with portfolio management and reporting tools such as Power BI and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of the equipment industry or technical project management environments.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams or projects is an advantage but not mandatory.
