About Griffin Gaming Partners

We are a dynamic team of storytellers, puzzle enthusiasts, and mobile game experts. Our journey began in 2008 in the heart of Copenhagen, and since then we have experienced continuous growth, establishing ourselves as one of the largest gaming companies in Denmark.

We pride ourselves on being a diverse group of over 55 nationalities and 43% women. We appreciate the richness of different experiences and perspectives that our team members bring to the game. This is why we foster a lean organisational culture, where each individual is encouraged to take responsibility, be open, and grow in their own way.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Gaming Insights Specialist to support our Product and LiveOps functions. Your role will be crucial in validating decisions with data, offering valuable insights to shape product roadmaps, and fostering a culture of backing up decisions with data.

This means you will have a real impact on the game and contribute to enhancing our players' experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse the performance of the game to help the Product/LiveOps team understand player behaviour, what to improve in the game and what is the estimated impact of each improvement.
  • Create compelling dashboards to monitor key metrics of the game.
  • Work closely with the Product/LiveOps team to design, analyse and derive conclusions from A/B tests.
  • Help game designers and product specialists to balance game features.
  • Work with developers to define the necessary tracking data points in the game.
  • Present your findings to stakeholders (product or LiveOps team members) and propose courses of action or improvements to the game.
  • Work closely with the rest of the game analysts on the team and brainstorm on how to solve problems.
Requirements
  • Strong background in data analytics.
  • Proficiency with SQL.
  • High proficiency in presenting analyses and results to all audiences, from senior stakeholders to junior colleagues and in particular to non-technical teammates.
  • Experience applying analytic techniques in order to understand user behaviour and their interactions.
  • A good understanding of applied statistics (such as sampling, hypothesis testing and A/B testing).
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau).
