We are seeking highly motivated Postdoctoral Researchers to join our team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research (CBMR). As a member of our team, you will contribute to pioneering research aimed at improving cardiometabolic health. Our research focuses on identifying the genetic and molecular determinants of body weight regulation and developing precision health strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement research projects aimed at understanding the molecular and genetic basis of cardiometabolic disease
- Work closely with our team to develop refined phenotypes, identify genetic variants and protein biomarkers, and analyze real-time data related to cardiometabolic health
- Collaborate with national and international biobanks to access large-scale datasets

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have a PhD in (genetic/molecular) epidemiology, statistical genetics, statistics, computational biology, machine learning, or a related field. You will also have a strong computation background, expertise in dealing with large datasets, and experience with gene-discovery approaches. Additionally, you should have excellent English communication skills and the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
