About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial IT System Manager to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a key member of our IT Solutions Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining industrial IT systems in support of manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT system administration and management, with experience in working with industrial systems within the pharma industry or other highly regulated industries (GMP). Aveva PI experience is preferred, but not required.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, performing reviews and driving life cycle management to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks. You will also collaborate with vendors to ensure deliverables and services meet agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks.
  • Perform reviews and drive life cycle management to ensure smooth operation of IT systems.
  • Support project activities related to PI Systems and interfaces.
  • Run small projects to ensure cross-site IT systems meet production and external requirements.
  • Manage expectations of customers, system owners, end-users, quality assurance personnel, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Science, or a similar field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in IT system administration or management.
  • Experience in risk management, user access management, change and release management, archiving and retention, and periodic system evaluation (PSE).
  • Experience with industrial systems within the pharma industry or other highly regulated industries (GMP) preferred.
