Job Title: Project Verification and Validation Engineer

Alstom Transport Danmark A/S is seeking a skilled Project Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced engineer to support the deployment of application software on target equipment in test environments and configure simulators. The successful candidate will also run in-house system integration and validation tests on the system test environment in the customer laboratory, support customer test activities, and analyse test results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the deployment of application software on target equipment in test environments and configure simulators.
  2. Run the in-house system integration and validation tests on the system test environment in the customer laboratory.
  3. Support customer test activities.
  4. Analyse test results based on observations collected during the test and the evaluation of logs collected from the equipment under test.
  5. Defect reporting and follow-up with designers responsible for the different sub-systems.
Requirements:
  1. You graduated with a Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  2. 3 to 5 years in designing or testing railway signaling systems.
  3. You have a basic understanding of networking (VLANs, subnetting, IP routing) and datacenter architecture.
  4. You have an analytical mind and have experience in troubleshooting.
