Transforming Environmental Challenges into Sustainable Solutions
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant with a strong background in soil, groundwater, and marine sediments to join our team at COWI. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will contribute to projects that shape a greener future and contribute to real-world environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field investigations and sampling for soil, groundwater, or marine sediments to ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations.
- Perform Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and environmental assessments, focusing on marine environments, to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and advise on contaminated land and remediation strategies to minimize environmental impacts.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver environmental solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and provide expert advice on environmental matters.
- Support proposals and business development in soil, groundwater, and marine sediment projects to drive business growth and expansion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, geology, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in soil and groundwater consulting, including marine sediment projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Proficiency in soil and groundwater sampling techniques, data analysis, and report writing to communicate complex environmental information effectively.
- Familiarity with GIS and environmental modeling tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of contaminated land and remediation practices to develop effective remediation strategies.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills to build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
