Clinical Pharmacology Expert for Drug Development

Role Overview
Lundbeck is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacology Expert to join our team and contribute to the success of our drug development projects.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in pharmacokinetic methods, experience in drug development, and a strong background in clinical pharmacology.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) aspects of preclinical and clinical studies, with a focus on clinical aspects.
- Develop strategic designs for PK/PD plans to ensure PK supports the plan and selected analyses are relevant for overall clinical development plans.
- Represent the department in cross-functional teams and provide PK/PD input to global clinical development plans.
- Write scientific reports and prepare documents for PK/PD-related sections in Investigator Brochures, study reports, manuscripts, summaries for regulatory authorities, INDs, and BLAs.
- Interpret preclinical PK data to inform human dose projections.
About the Role
This position is part of the Experimental Medicine organization responsible for the clinical part of the translational space between research and development, including biomarker development.
The role is located at Lundbeck's headquarters in Valby, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Your Qualifications
- BS or MS (with 2-3 years of industry experience) or PhD in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical science, bioengineering, chemical engineering, or related disciplines.
- A basic physiological understanding to facilitate collaborations with clinical colleagues.
- Solid research background and interest in understanding PK data in complex biology contexts.
- Working knowledge of PK/PD software (e.g., WinNonlin, NONMEM, R, MATLAB).
- Proven ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English.
- Skilled in building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared goals.
- Scientifically minded, curious, and innovative.
