Senior Test and Commissioning Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Test and Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Alstom Gruppe.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing test and commissioning activities on complex railway signalling projects. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to define test plans, strategies, and procedures.
You will also supervise the development of project-specific T&C procedures and ensure that the T&C team follows established processes and uses the correct tools.
A key aspect of this role is to prepare and manage test and commissioning works in the field, including logistics, documentation, and personnel management.
Responsibilities- Define test and commissioning plans and strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, taking into account the project's technical requirements and timelines.
- Supervise procedure development: Oversee the creation and updating of project-specific test and commissioning procedures, ensuring they meet industry standards.
- Manage internal interfaces: Collaborate with installation, project engineering, and warranty teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Coordinate external interfaces: Liaise with customers and suppliers to address any concerns or issues related to test and commissioning activities.
- Ensure occupational health and safety: Contribute to the development of EHS plans, enforce compliance with safety rules, and report any deviations or suggestions for improvement.
Requirements
- Education: Master's degree in engineering (electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Multiple years of experience in test and commissioning or validation and verification activities for signalling projects.
- Skills: Proven team management skills, good knowledge of English language (read, written, spoken), quality-focused attitude, and ability to work in the field, including night shifts.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including life insurance, medical coverage, and pension plan.
