We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist for Biocatalysis and Glycoscience to join our research team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new enzymatic technologies for the production of human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs).
The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related field, with a strong background in protein expression, enzyme purification, and characterization. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
About the role
This is a 2-year postdoctoral position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge research project. You will work closely with industry partners and collaborate with other researchers within the project group.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments related to enzyme expression, purification, and characterization
- Develop and optimize enzyme assays for HMO production
- Collaborate with industry partners and other researchers within the project group
- Train new group members and visitors in relevant laboratory technologies
