- We are seeking an experienced Research Coordinator with expertise in coordinating projects, people, and administrative tasks to join our team as the Centre Coordinator.
- The ideal candidate will have qualifications and/or experience within the field of sustainability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- This role involves supporting the centre management with operational activities, managing centre facilities, planning and executing outreach activities, and assisting with administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the centre management with operational activities and management of the centre
- Internal coordination and research community-building activities, including management of centre facilities and organisation of monthly Centre meetings
- Planning and execution of the Centre's outreach activities, including lunch seminars, industry workshops, and annual conferences
- Coordination of accounting and reporting of research projects and other related projects at the Centre
- Assisting with administrative duties for the Sustainability Dean, who is Chair of the Centre's Steering Committee and Advisory Board
Requirements
- Experience in coordinating projects and people, with respect to administrative, practical, and organisational issues
- Qualifications and/or experience within the field of sustainability, preferably with a relevant degree or similar qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Ability to prioritise and manage many tasks of different shapes, sizes, and importance
