Senior Research Associate in Quantum Optics

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoc researcher to contribute to our ongoing research in squeezed light sources using the integrated LNOI photonics platform. The successful candidate will join the High-Speed Optical Communications group at DTU Electro.
Key Responsibilities- Designing PPLN Waveguides: Design waveguides on periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) for squeezed state generation.
- Fabricating Ultra-low Loss PPLN Waveguides: Fabricate ultra-low loss PPLN waveguides in the state-of-the-art cleanroom at DTU Nanolab.
- Developing Fiber-to-Chip Couplers: Investigate ultra-low loss fiber-to-chip couplers on the LNOI platform.
- PhD Degree or Equivalent: A PhD degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as nonlinear photonics, quantum optics, or nanofabrication technology.
- Experience in Nanofabrication Technology: Experience in nonlinear photonics, quantum optics, and nanofabrication technology is highly desirable.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English are essential for collaboration with colleagues from academia and industry.
The HSOC group at DTU Electro is a leading research group in integrated silicon and lithium niobate quantum photonics, on-chip quantum information processing, and high-dimensional quantum communication technologies.
