We are looking for a highly skilled Marine Structures Design Lead to join our team at Ramboll. This role involves taking responsibility for technical project delivery as discipline lead/design manager, driving the development and innovation of our structural skill set as a team effort, managing marine projects, and ensuring the highest level of quality in our deliverables.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in the design of marine structures, including quays, jetties, berthing structures, pile decks, caissons, block walls, dolphins, etc. They will also possess extensive knowledge of relevant design codes and design methodologies, as well as excellent communication skills and professional-level English.
In this role, you will be responsible for promoting our capabilities in the market, co-creating closely with clients and stakeholders, focusing on value creation, and acting as a role model for our younger team members. You will also have the opportunity to work on major marine projects across all stages from planning to detailed design.
We are committed to supporting your personal and professional development, and we offer a dynamic work environment with multiple stakeholders and a strong commitment to sustainability. Our ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or similar) and 10+ years of experience in the design of marine structures.
