Join our team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability as a Genomics and Bioengineering Assistant We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to support our research project on functional assessment of filamentous fungi.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with top scientists from around the world. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting experiments using various cloning strategies (USER, Gibson, and in vivo assembly) in yeast and filamentous fungi
  • Preparing and transforming protoplasts for filamentous fungi species
  • Executing submerged fermentation protocols for filamentous fungi
  • Applying CRISPR/Cas9 and CRISPR/Cas12a gene editing technologies for various applications
  • Analyzing genomics data for fungi (Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes)
