Sustainability Researcher Position

As a researcher at DTU Sustain, you will play a key role in developing innovative methods for environmental sustainability assessment. The position is offered at the Section for Quantitative Sustainability Assessment of the Department of Environmental and Resource Engineering.
The primary focus of this postdoctoral work will be to strengthen the department's competences within environmental impact modeling around natural resource use. Your research will be embedded in an EU Horizon project, Plastics2Olefins, where you will develop and apply improved resource footprinting approaches in the life cycle assessment of pyrolysis technologies.
You will develop new frameworks and computing indicators for assessing the impacts of natural resource use in environmental sustainability assessments of products and technologies. Assessing environmental sustainability performance of pyrolysis of plastics is also a critical aspect of this role. Additionally, you will participate in teaching activities including the supervision of MSc student projects and the co-supervision of PhD student projects.
