Group Leaders in Cardiometabolic Science and Disease

The successful candidates will be expected to:
- Conduct innovative research in cardiometabolic health and disease, including publication/academic dissemination, in close collaboration with other Research Groups within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences
- Develop and teach courses, including associated examination, in the area of cardiometabolic health and disease
- Lead and manage a Research Group, including guidance and supervision of researchers
- Promote the Centre's research and engage in public debate
- Participate in academic assessments and evaluation activities
The successful candidates must have a strong background in metabolomics, cardiovascular pathophysiology, and the central regulation of body weight and energy homeostasis. They should also have excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, as well as the ability to attract research funding.
