Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Bioenergy and Power-Generation group. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in translating customer enquiries into high-quality technical and commercial proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with new prospects and existing clients to develop consulting projects and provide strategic advice.
- Drive business development initiatives and lead the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate and oversee multi-disciplinary tender teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Significant experience in the biofuels industry, with a proven track record in technology, consulting, or project management roles.
- In-depth knowledge of biofuels production technologies, feedstock logistics, lifecycle analysis, and sustainability standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in economic modelling and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ambitions of leadership and team management, with capabilities in mentoring and developing junior staff.
