As a Drainage Engineer, you'll be part of our team that creates solutions for the future. We're looking for experienced professionals to join us in Denmark's most significant projects in drainage.

Your key responsibilities will include leading and facilitating projects within designing climate adaptation of drainage and sewer systems, development of integrated urban drainage solutions, and resilient and sustainable drainage systems. You'll also dive into technical solutions within water and climate adaptation such as management of surface stormwater on terrain integrated in design of blue-green solutions, rain beds, SUDS, open and underground stormwater basins, renovation and design of overflow structures, underground wastewater basins, pumpstations, offshore projects, stormwater tunnels, and interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues across COWI.

  • You will lead projects focusing on climate adaption of drainage and sewer systems.
  • You will facilitate teams working on urban drainage solutions and sustainable drainage systems.
  • You will work on complex technical issues related to surface stormwater management.

We're looking for individuals with:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience with at least one discipline in drainage or other similar professional skills as Specialist, Discipline Lead, or Project Manager.
  • A degree in engineering.
  • Knowledge in CAD-design tools.
  • Flair for customer and contractor contact.
  • Ability to work efficiently and structured.
  • Advanced communication skills in both Danish and English - both oral and written.
