About Pharmacovigilance at Novo Nordisk

We are a leading pharmaceutical company seeking an experienced professional to lead and drive safety surveillance activities in development projects for rare diseases.

As a key member of our Global Safety team, you will be responsible for establishing product safety profiles during clinical development and performing critical analysis and medical evaluation of emerging aggregate safety data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chairing cross-functional drug safety committees to ensure thorough benefit-risk assessments.
  • Preparing clear and concise communication about benefit-risk assessments to stakeholders.
  • Contributing to clinical study designs and protocols to ensure robust data collection.
  • Collaborating with external parties related to clinical safety monitoring to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Representing Safety Surveillance in cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in safety surveillance and development in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • A master's degree in Medicine or Natural Sciences (e.g., Doctor of Medicine, Master of Science in Pharmacy).
  • Interest/experience in data analysis and analysis tools (e.g., JMP and/or Qlik Sense).
  • Experience with rare diseases, hemophilia, or hemoglobinopathies is an advantage.
  • The ability to work independently and collaborate in a developing environment.
  • Good skills in establishing contacts and collaborating with stakeholders internally and externally.
