Laboratory Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Manager to oversee our accredited calibration laboratory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the lab, ensuring compliance with procedures and quality manuals, and leading the lab team.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Operations: Manage technical operations, ensuring adherence to both standard and non-standard procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure daily adherence to procedures and the quality manual, maintaining quality across all processes in the laboratory.
- Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and control of laboratory equipment and ensure the technical conditions of the laboratory are suitable for operations.
- Calibration Oversight: Manage and oversee the planning, execution, and quality of all calibrations, including selecting methods and performing data analysis.
- Staff and Training: Define required expertise and experience for staff, and plan and implement their training programs.
- Compliance and Documentation: Preserve and document technical knowledge and experience for all laboratory personnel, ensure inter-laboratory comparisons are conducted regularly to maintain standards, and designate suitable personnel to implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Communication and Customer Interaction: Communicate with the logistics manager regarding laboratory operations, the CQO regarding quality assurance and meteorological questions, verify and approve new external partners, and interact with end customers regarding temperature and humidity calibrations and related inquiries.
- Oversight and Approvals: Hold ultimate responsibility for calibrations, including final decisions on method selection, data analysis, and the accuracy of statements and interpretations, and approve all laboratory tours.
As Eupry's Lab Manager, you'll join a rapidly growing company expanding into the US market. You'll oversee 25,000 calibrations annually, with plans to increase to 50,000. You'll collaborate with different teams: sales, to help them understand our products; logistics, to ensure accurate delivery times; support, to maintain high customer satisfaction; development, to guide the lab's growth; and quality, to ensure ISO compliance. You're an independent, passionate individual who cares about metrology, quality, and great service for both colleagues and customers. Most importantly, you're a team player.
Requirements:- Proven experience in laboratory management and accredited calibrations.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to maintain high-quality standards and adherence to procedures.
- Proficiency in managing laboratory equipment and ensuring maintenance.
- Ability to interact with customers and handle technical inquiries.
