We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled medical doctor to join our team as a global clinical trials medical director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing clinical trials, as well as providing medical expertise to support the development of new treatments for obesity.
In this role, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design and execute clinical trial programs, manage clinical data, and develop strategic plans to drive innovation in the field of obesity medicine.
You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, health care professionals, and therapeutic experts, to ensure that our clinical trials are conducted in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety.
Main Responsibilities- Plan and execute clinical trials for obesity treatments, including designing study protocols, managing clinical data, and developing strategic plans to drive innovation in the field.
- Provide medical expertise to support the development of new treatments for obesity, including reviewing clinical data, conducting literature reviews, and developing scientific recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute clinical trial programs, including working with trial management, biostatistics, global patient safety, and regulatory affairs teams.
- A medical degree and clinical research experience, ideally through a PhD or similar.
- Experience within the field of expertise such as physician, specialist education, principal investigator/co-investigator assignments, or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills and fluency in written and spoken English.
